How do I get started?

We are by appointment only. Call the store to schedule your drop-off appointment and we'll walk you through the process.

What do you accept?

We accept high-end and name brand clothing in all sizes. Items should be clean, in good condition, and in style. We reserve the right to decline items that don't meet our standards.

What is the consignment split?

Our split depends on the listing price of your item:

  • Items listed at $99 and under: 40% to you / 60% to Urban Thread
  • Items listed at $100 and over: 50% to you / 50% to Urban Thread

How are items priced?

Our team prices items based on brand, condition, current market demand, and original retail value. We aim to price competitively to sell your items quickly.

How long will my items be listed?

Items may remain listed until the end of the season. If your items haven't sold and you'd like them back, you're welcome to pick them up — a $5 retrieval fee applies. If they haven't sold and you don't want them back, we donate to a local charity.

If you have high end or luxury items they may stay past the season and be a year round item. They will not be donated.

How and when do I get paid?

You can request payout at anytime.

Can I track my items?

Yes — ask us about access to your consignor account where you can view your listed items and sales activity.

Do you authenticate luxury and high-end items?

Yes — authentication is an important part of our process for luxury and designer pieces. Here's what to expect:

  • What we check: We inspect items for authenticity markers including hardware, stitching, labels, serial numbers, date codes, and overall craftsmanship.
  • Brands we scrutinize closely: Designer handbags, shoes, and accessories from brands like Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Chanel, Prada, and similar luxury labels undergo additional review.
  • What helps: Bring any original receipts, dust bags, authenticity cards, or original packaging — these speed up the process and can positively impact your payout. These items may be required for certain brands but are helpful for all.
  • If we can't verify: Items we cannot authenticate will be respectfully declined. This protects both our buyers and our consignors.

Our goal is to maintain a trusted marketplace — authentication is how we protect everyone involved.
